I have been attempting to make a huge album of J's first year: photos (oh the photos), early sonograms, cards, and some cute stuff kept during my pregnancy and his first year. I have to keep reminding myself that it can't be a scrapbook or it will never get done (seeing as his 1st birthday was over a year ago). It can't be anything fancy, just the materials I have on hand.

1/8th of the photos I have to sort through. I counted around 600 photos (and throughout his first year I honestly thought I didn't take that many photos.)

spinach and rice soup with some added cous cous. (it doesn't look appetizing but he ate it all up).

I finally made an album of all the photos Joel took of me during my pregnancy.

My sister in law made these awesome cupcake poppers!!

Jbear couldn't get enough of them.
We got a nice amount of snow this past Saturday!! It's an interesting concept to teach a toddler the wonders of a snow day where you curl up on the couch with hot chocolate and watch something other than Dora.
What did you do this weekend?

HI!!!!
i love all of this. especially that you're making him this album BUT more importantly that you have made rules for yourself so that it doesn't get too overwhelming. Just love all around. (i can't believe how big he's getting! what a little dude!)
